Operator, not passenger.

Thirty years owning one business. Twelve acquisitions. No outside capital.

I started Windhill Design in 1996, two years out of high school, with a Teach Yourself HTML book and one real estate client. I still run it today, with about 200 recurring clients.

By the numbers

Every deal self funded. Every earnout cash flow positive from day one.

Twelve deals since 2014.

Eleven rolled straight into Windhill Design. One standalone deal in Denver lasted five months, and what it taught me is in the book.

No outside capital.

I have never borrowed money from a bank or investor to do any of these deals. On some, the down payment came back in as little as nine months.

Start the conversations.

Over the years I've mailed roughly 20,000 letters to owners in my industry. About 10 to 12 percent of each batch picked up the phone or wrote back.

One business, bigger.

A bolt on isn't a second company to run. Eleven of my twelve deals were rolled straight into Windhill Design, under one name and one set of systems.

What clients say
about working with me

The whole process, written down.

No finance background. No MBA. Just twelve deals.

The Bolt On Blueprint covers the letters, the first call, valuation, earnouts, diligence, and closing day.
